In December 2011, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine finished developing the National Report on targeted safety reassessment of Ukrainian NPPs (National Report). The main provisions of this document were discussed and approved on 20 December 2011 at the Open Session of the SNRIU Board. SSTC experts participated in development of the National Report of Ukraine.

On 19 September – 16 December 2011, training sessions were organized at Facilia AB premises (Stockholm, Sweden) in the framework of national project IAEA-UKR/3/033 “Decommissioning of Chernobyl NPP Units No.1, 2, 3 and On-Site Radwaste Management, including the Shelter”.

On 28 November – 02 December 2011, an on-site peer review was held at the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant (SUNPP) with respect to emergency operating procedures and symptom-oriented emergency instructions (SOAI).
